All Bisley fixtures for 2026 have now been confirmed,  so the dates and ranges published on the "Fixtures" page are now final.

Sunday April 26 Bisley fixture is 200 yards, this is an opportunity to zero your rifle at 200 yards prior to the McQueen event on May 3rd. We will have volunteer marker(s) available to assist if necessary. So, no excuses if you haven't zeroed your rifle since the siege of Mafeking, dust it off and bring it along.

The forthcoming consultation on merging section 2 (shotguns) into section 1 may not now happen. The word on the streets is that due to substantial push-back in the recent debate, this will now be shelved.  However, it's likely that additional regulation around S2 will be added  - whatever that might be.

Some interim news on de-regulation of moderators & flash hiders

Lords vote to remove sound moderators from Section 1 - Shooting UK 

Breaking: sound moderator deregulation accepted in House of Lords 

TFSA is looking at starting some Running Deer shoots at Bisley, see   The British Sporting Rifle Club  for details, the first shoot will be some time in early spring (TBD) but initially will be on a weekday. This initial weekday shoot will be self funding, it will be limited to around 6~8 people, and the cost should work out at ~ £15 per head. If anybody is interested in taking part in this then please talk to JohnN. In the fullness of time it is hoped to run this one Sunday, but initially will be a weekday.

There are still 13 Shooter Certification cards awaiting collection, these will be taken along to Bisley Short Siberia 200 yds on April 26th. After that they will be returned to Pinewwod.
