Tuesday morning shoot bookings will now change as follows :
They will now take place every Tuesday for the foreseeable future except for Tues March 3rd.
There will be a green fee payable on the day of £5 to cover the cost of range hire. This fee applies only to Tuesday shoots.
The next Tuesday shoot will therefore be on Tues Feb 24th, 08:30 to approximately 12:30, followed by :
Tuesday March 10th, March 17th, and March 24th, watch this space for further dates.
There are still some Shooter Certification cards awaiting collection from Pinewood.
All Bisley fixtures for 2026 have now been confirmed, so the dates and ranges published on the "Fixtures" page are now final.
Please be on the lookout for a forthcoming Home Office consultation on section 2 firearms (shotguns). This consultation is looking to gather support for changing section 2 status to section 1 - ie more regulation and higher costs, with potentially all the extra restrictions applicable to S1 then applying to S2 :- ammunition quantity controls and secure storage of cartridges all the way through the supply chain, nominated slots on your shotgun certificate, club/land usage restrictions etc
In the meantime it's worth signing this petition to express your objection with any proposal to combine S2 and S1

The debate resulting from this petition has now taken place, generally speakers were in favour of NOT merging S2 & S1, but the government minister at the end appeared to be desperately searching for some weasels on the subject. Here's a link to the debate on YouTube

TFSA is looking at starting some Running Deer shoots at Bisley, see The British Sporting Rifle Club for details, the first shoot will be some time in early spring (TBD) but initially will be on a weekday. This initial weekday shoot will be self funding, it will be limited to around 6~8 people, and the cost should work out at ~ £15 per head. If anybody is interested in taking part in this then please talk to JohnN. In the fullness of time it is hoped to run this one Sunday, but initially will be a weekday.
